Starting an Online Busines - How to Stop Procrastination and Start Doing -Hendry Lee
What should you do after you decide to make money online? With the myriad number of opportunities that are available out there, it is easy to jump from one thing this week to another next week.
One thing that I think very helpful to keep me on track is by building a plan and following it religiously. Don't get me wrong, nothing is wrong with you if you want to keep your eyes open for ways to grow your business. Continuing education is indeed a critical part any business owner should invest in.
However, to actually produce the kind of results you want, you must take action and make them the top priority of all. In other words, invest some time to develop your skills and knowledge but don't let it keep turn you into a procrastinator.
Here's 3 steps action plan to help you follow through and get results.
Step 1. Collect information, but limit the time
Information can be addictive. I collected a lot of ebooks and programs a few years ago hoping to get back to them later but I never did. They are just collecting virtual dust in my hard disk.
Research is important. Before you know what to do and how to do it right, you must have the right information. However, it may surprise you to find that often if you focus on looking for what you want, you can do it in a few minutes. Most of the time are spent wandering around from sites to sites. Those are distractions and there are a lot of them on the Web.
For your initial information collection, allocate a few hours to do that. By all means collect any information you can but you should know when enough is enough. You can come back for another search session when you need additional information. It will still be there, trust me.
Step 2. Define the next actionable task
With all the materials you've collected, now is the time to set aside some time to wade through the pile and take notes. You may start to see the big picture now.
What's next is to identify the next actionable task that you can do to move the project forward. Put it in your to do list and do it anyway. If you don't have a system to track to do tasks and other timely project, I recommend you peruse Getting Things Done by David Allen.
Step 3. Keep at least one task all the time in your to do list
To keep the momentum going, and to always be closer to the final goal of the project, you need to constantly keep at least one task all the time in the to do list.
This is easily done if you are in the loop of adding one actionable step into the to do list once you've finished the current one.
Don't overwhelm the list with items that you can't possibly do right away. Long list of non-actionable items can lead to procrastination too.
Repeat the process until you have it done. If you focus on getting the actionable things done instead of overwhelming yourself with information and non-actionable items, before you know it, you'll have them done.

poll results and implication to money making
I was trying to know why some nation’s economy is under threat. I imagined how a country will be blessed with relevant natural resources and still their economy has nothing to show for it. I was made to conduct a survey poll which was posted in correctbuycomputers site for some days to enable the whole world contribute on it. At the end of the poll, the following has to emerge: CORRUPTION is the most threatening factor to any nation’s economy.
The question was, “which of these factors mostly threaten any nation economy” and options to choose were:
a. corruption
b. poverty
c. illiteracy and
d. Political instability.
.people voted massively to the options of their choice and results are as follow:
The corruption option has the greatest number of response with about 57%, followed by political instability with about22%. The poverty and illiteracy ranked 4th and 5th respectively, with about15% and 06%
What does that mean? It means corruption is the root of economic woes of any nation. This is not my personal view but that of people who took their time to reason out of historical observations. The analysis of this result has some down reaching implications on people’s way of life, their standard of living and what have you? In that case, I request you to share in giving further analytical report to guide future leader on the dangers of perpetuating corruption any where. You comment can be posted HERE.
While I await your comment, I have designed another question on the heart bordering issue. Internet revolution has brought good and bad to the world as many use to say. To me it is a good omen if not for any thing; I share with you not minding the distance and speed. Others have one or two good reasons why they see it as good omen. I make money from internet; other people also make mega buck from internet. In many places, people are still skeptical to accept and harness these mega buck opportunities. Is it out of ignorance that deprive my people these unique opportunities? Is it cost? Or what could that be? An adage says, “A tree can not make a forest” and this is just the reason why I have decided to conduct another survey poll to get peoples reaction to some selected options.

I’ve been reflecting this week about the amazing diversity of opportunities that are opening up for bloggers to make money from blogging.
I’ve long advised that bloggers seeking to make money from blogging spread their interests across multiple revenue streams so as not to put all their eggs in one basket.
The wonderful thing is that this is becoming easier and easier to do 2005 has seen many options opening up. I thought I’d take a look at some of the methods that bloggers are currently using to make money through blogs.
Income Streams for Bloggers - How to Make Money Blogging
Advertising Programs - Perhaps the most obvious changes in the past few months have been with the addition of a variety of viable advertising options for bloggers looking to make money from their blogs. The most common way bloggers seem to earn money online is via the contextual ad program from Google - Adsense. A more recent addition that many are using successfully are Chitika’s eMiniMalls and WidgetBucks, Text Link Ads.
Azoogle Ads, Intelli Txt, DoubleClick, Tribal Fusion, Adbrite, Clicksor, AdHearUs, Kanoodle, Pheedo, TextAds, Bidvertiser, Fastclick and Value Click (to name just some of the options) and there is a smorgasbord of options. Of course there is more to come with MSN Adcenter and YPN both in beta testing and with a variety of other advertising system currently in development (YPN is only available to US publishers).

I’m not at liberty to discuss details - but I know of one largish blog which will see sales over $20,000 in merchandise for the calendar year of 2005.
Consulting and Speaking - While it has been popular for established consultants to add blogs to their businesses we’re also starting to see bloggers with no consulting background able to make money by charging readers for their time in consulting scenarios BECAUSE of the profile that their blogs have built them. Blogging has the ability to establish people as experts on niche topics and we all know the value of being perceived as an expert. I spoke to one blogger last month who charges himself out at over $200 an hour for speaking and consulting work - his area of expertise was something that he knew little about 18 months ago - but through his blog he’s become a leader in his field and a minor celebrity in his industry.

I’ve been reflecting this week about the amazing diversity of opportunities that are opening up for bloggers to make money from blogging.
I’ve long advised that bloggers seeking to make money from blogging spread their interests across multiple revenue streams so as not to put all their eggs in one basket.
The wonderful thing is that this is becoming easier and easier to do 2005 has seen many options opening up. I thought I’d take a look at some of the methods that bloggers are currently using to make money through blogs.
Income Streams for Bloggers - How to Make Money Blogging
Advertising Programs - Perhaps the most obvious changes in the past few months have been with the addition of a variety of viable advertising options for bloggers looking to make money from their blogs. The most common way bloggers seem to earn money online is via the contextual ad program from Google - Adsense. A more recent addition that many are using successfully are Chitika’s eMiniMalls and WidgetBucks, Text Link Ads.
Azoogle Ads, Intelli Txt, DoubleClick, Tribal Fusion, Adbrite, Clicksor, AdHearUs, Kanoodle, Pheedo, TextAds, Bidvertiser, Fastclick and Value Click (to name just some of the options) and there is a smorgasbord of options. Of course there is more to come with MSN Adcenter and YPN both in beta testing and with a variety of other advertising system currently in development (YPN is only available to US publishers).
Lastly there’s BlogAds - one of the first blog specific ad networks.
RSS Advertising - The past 12 months have seen some advances in RSS Advertising also. I’m yet to hear of any bloggers making big money blogging through it to this point - but as improvements are made to the ad programs exploring this I’m sure we’ll start to see examples of it being profitable.

Blogs which are also known as web logs are the new thing on the internet. They are pretty much a platform that you can use that will allow you to post your thoughts on most any subject that you want to. They can be used for journaling, promoting, writing, and publishing, anything that your heart desires. However, if you are a beginner and new blogging as well as marketing, there are some very important things that you will want to know.
Blog marketing is pretty easy if you have a marketing mind. You are going to find that many people use blogs as a diary, and many times these blogs that are used for this purpose are not intended to make them money, but simply a way to put there thoughts out there and find others that are going through the same thing. If you have never even had a blog before, the simplest thing that you can do is to start one, and just journal in it for a while. This will allow you to learn just what it takes and what it is all about to keep up a blog. When you are just journaling your thoughts and what is on your mind, you have nothing to lose and nothing to gain. You don’t even have to make your blog public if you don’t want others to read what you have to say. That is a personal preference. However, doing this will let you see how it works. C O M P U T E R E D U C A T I O N
Early child education is that type of education aimed at catching them young. It is a foundation laying period for children at early age to inculcate learning, retentive and other relevant skills in a child. As invention of computer came to many people as a strange machine in some parts of the world, percentage of the world population can not operate or work conveniently with a computer machine irrespective of their educational background.
In as much as, the world global village continue to enlarge, there is high need to encourage learning of computer education among the world population. COMPULSORY inclusion of “Computer education and Practice” in our educational curriculum from early child education system to an extent of post-graduate studies will be of immense help. This idea, at the primary stage will form part of their educational culture. It will also bring much familiarization of this invention. It is better to catch them young and grow with them than to spend time and resources training the adult (I am not saying that adult should be excluded in this important reform strategy).
In some parts of the world, educational target to wipe illiteracy by the year 2020, under millennium development goals, has consumed sizeable, a large chunk of nation’s budgets for provision of teachings and learning aides with little or no attention to computer education and practice. In some cases, corruption do not allow the captains of the industry to procure as provided in budgets, the required quantity and quality of such educational material needed for standard. The fund is always diverted unaccountably to either private purse or unknown place with no serious query as to where and why the fund may have missed road. Poverty is also a contributive threat to computer education development, education and its practice. Level of poverty in some nations is high, and this makes for inadequate budgetary allocation to the sector of educational development. The poor security system, preservation method, lack of storage space and old patterns stuff provide serious loop-holes that are not match able with the demands of globalization.
