With prices rising everywhere and our dollar worth less and less money, all of us are starting to wonder how we can earn a little extra money. Cash making ideas are all over the internet and it is important to know which ones work and which ones don't. Here is a list of the most common cash making ideas.

Paid Surveys - You've probably heard of them (if not tried them). Companies all over the world are trying to sell products to people like you and I. They need our opinions and our ideas in order to continue to provide quality service and so they offer a small reward for doing their surveys. These rewards really can range between pennies to $50 (if not more in some cases) but come very infrequently unless you are deemed to be in a particularly important demographic.

Online Auction Sites - Some of us have products to sell or are good at finding really good deals. Using online auction sites you can either sell off a product or purchase one in the hopes of selling it for more later. If you have a product to sell then online auctions are a good idea (or better yet, a website of your own). Otherwise it is often very difficult to play the buy/sell game successfully unless you have a large investment.

Companies everywhere are trying desperately to get their products or services to the people that might want them. This is where you come in, you become an affiliate marketer for one of these companies and help other people find that product. You then make a commission on the sale and everyone is happy; You, the customer, and the company that sold it. There are several ways you can start in Affiliate Marketing.



E-mail - If you have a large list of email addresses you can simply send out a letter telling them about the product and what it can do for them. Simply add your affiliate link and you're set.
Website - If you are good with web design and have a little money to invest it is absolutely possible for you to send people to your affiliate links that way. Warning: Running a successful website takes a lot of work and SEO knowledge.
Articles - This is the absolute best way to do affiliate marketing, in my opinion. My reasons for saying this are simple. It's free and it's effective. Article marketing is a great lead into the kind of cash you could use on Pay Per Click marketing.
Pay Per Click - Google PPC and Yahoo Search Marketing are another great way to make money (and lots of it, if you know what you're doing). This option requires investment and a good knowledge of Keyword Research Techniques.


If you're looking for extra money, cash making ideas that need an investment are probably not for you right now. My recommendation is to start article marketing, use the profits to expand into Pay Per Click ads at a later time (possibly pointing to your own website at that point). Learn as you go and build yourself a foundation of many different streams of income and you'll make extra cash quickly.
